I have just found an injured Wood pigeon. Its a baby with fluffy feathers. I caled the RSPCA (I am in the UK) and they told me to put it back in the garden. My neighbours both sides have cats and it wouldnt last 2 seconds in the garden. i have brought it in an put it in a shoe box with some car..

There is not much that can be done for a wood pigeon with an injured wing. It would never be able to fly and would have to be 'looked after' all its life. Not a nice prospect for a wild animal. See if you can find someone to do the deed and put this bird out of his misery. Wood pigeons can bree..
